Dennis Catania, 42, a Maltese man wanted in the United States in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old man, has been arraigned in a US court after US marshals were allowed to extradite him and his partner Diana Camacho from Cuba.

Both have been accused of the kidnap and murder of Ross Heimlich, who was found burnt in his car in New Jersey a year ago. The victim and Camacho are said to have had an affair.
