Building a dream house on $2 a day
Macford Mwape lives on less than two dollars a day in Zambia's Copperbelt region.
He's spent the last five years painstakingly making ten thousand mud bricks, to build the house of his dreams.
Now he wants to train his neighbours to build better houses for themselves.

I think this guy should be rewarded financially for his painstaking efforts. Wouldn't it be a nice gesture if one could send money DIRECTLY to him? If sent through some organisations, it may be 'eaten' on the way and he would receive next to nothing. Most of us can afford to give him a few days income and every little would help. What I admire in this guy is that he wants to help others. Positive comments only please!

We need more of these articles to raise greater awareness of the hardships that many people in different countries in Africa have to face. It is only through education that we may have less of the 'go back to your country' mindless remarks!
