Some complaints by care workers on the conditions of their employment are justified, a board of inquiry has concluded.

In its recommendations following an inquiry on the conditions of work of care workers in hospitals and homes for the elderly, the board asked about the advisability of awarding all contracts to the same contractor, pointing out that this put the ministry a vulnerable position.

The board of inquiry had been appointed by the government to establish the facts on care workers' conditions of work and make recommendations in case of irregularities.

The government said it will now study the report and take the necessary action.

The board's recommendations can be read in the pdf link below.
