George Bowery has been appointed headmaster at St Edward’s College, Cottonera. Returning to tradition, Mr and Mrs Bowery have taken up residence at the headmaster’s house in the college grounds; this coincides with the reintroduction of boarding for both overseas and local students.

Mr Bowery brings to St Edward’s a career in education spanning over 35 years, the last 14 years as headmaster, first in England then in Kuwait.

Mr Bowery’s experience in education ranges from kindergarten, primary and secondary education through to university admission.

Mr Bowery is particularly keen that students should be proficient in both Maltese and English.
