The Victoria Scout Group recently held its annual summer camp in Dwejra. Around 90 members of the group – the Cub Packs, the Scout Troop and the Venture Unit –carried out various activities.

The highlight of the activities was a barbecue for over 400 supporters and parents, followed by a campfire. Another barbecue and campfire were held for people with special needs and residents of the Arka Respite Centre. At the end of the evening, Arka director Mgr Ema-nuel Curmi was presented with a donation raised during two fundraising activities – a fishing competition and a barbecue, and a three-day kayaking expedition round the Maltese islands.
