The Glenmorangie Company’s new state-of-the-art bottling facility was recently opened by Prince Andrew.

The Duke of York first visited the distillery in Tain, Ross-shire, in 1997, when a special cask was laid down in his name. Fourteen years on, the cask was bottled as a ‘Special Reserve’ when Prince Andrew inaugurated the company’s new production facility at the Alba Business Park in Livingston, West Lothian.

Prince Andrew was presented with 270 bottles, which will go to his chosen charities for auction.

The two-storey centre has two bottling halls and has been designed with a special focus on high quality production, environmental efficiency and safety.

Glenmorangie Scotch whisky is distributed locally by M. Demajo (Wines and Spirits) Ltd.
