Fund-raising event at Cottonera Sports Complex

Badminton Malta will be organising a fund-raising activity today in aid of Inspire – the Foundation for Inclusion.

In a statement, the association said this will be their way to help such a noble philanthropic cause.

In fact, the activity has been regularly organised on an annual basis during these last few years.

The event will take the form of a friendly team competition and will be taking place at the Cottonera Sports Complex between 6 and 9 p.m.

There will be continuous play on six courts between a number of teams whose respective individual members will be coming from different clubs.

There will be a court that will be reserved for the public.

Everyone will be given the opportunity to try his hand at playing badminton... even outright beginners or those who may have played the game in their school days.

All proceeds will be donated in full to Inspire.

Badminton Malta is urging the sporting public to support this event in order to help Inspire while enjoying their sport.
