Mazda’s new model, the CX-5, was forecast to have a top residual value within the German compact SUV segment by Europe’s leading used-car evaluation guide, Eurotax (known as Schwacke in Germany or Glass’s Guide in the UK).
“The new CX-5 is Mazda’s first compact SUV,” Glass’s manag-ing director Steffen Schick said. “Mazda’s SKYACTIV technologies demonstrate the full potential of combining a very efficient powertrain, lightweight body and dynamic chassis.
“Class leading fuel economy and CO2 figures from below 120g/km give an outstanding environmental performance while still maintaining a dynamic and pleasurable driving feel.”
“We are pleased Eurotax has recognised the huge step forward that SKYACTIV technologies offer fleets in terms of class leading CO2, fuel economy combined with excellent driving dynamics,” Christian Blank, director of European Fleet Operations at Mazda Motor Europe, said.
