An unwelcome eyesore at the entrance to Tal-Virtù
This recently taken photo shows a large telephone junction box (which looks like a wardrobe with one door) placed in the centre strip at the entrance to Tal-Virtù, Rabat.
We residents would have preferred a small statue with the words ‘Welcome to Tal-Virtù’ instead.
This eyesore could have at least been placed and hidden among the trees in the same centre strip.

Why do you consider that whatever residents "would have preferred" to be remotely applicable to, or consistent with,the wants, needs and requirements of any entity In Malta to countenance?You must surely be aware that the only time such considerations would be applicable is immediately prior to an election!

Tal Virtu was even better without the houses as eyesores.
