Kiosk owners are legally obliged to clearly and prominently display prices with food and drink products, including snacks, the consumers and tourism authorities said in a joint statement.

This, they said, was also the case for all businesses.

They said they will continue working to ensure that all establishments are in line with the regulations administered by the authorities and those found breaching them would be subject to fines according to law.

The authorities invited the public to report abuses on fair.trading@gov.mt or 2144 6250-5.
