Public toilets all over Malta are being vandalised and some establishments lock their toilets so customers can only use public conveniences.
In some EU countries public toilets do not exist anymore because of the vandalism, so the councils pay a contribution to the outlets to leave their toilets open for public access. It is also a way to generate business! Can the authorities consider something similar here? After all, the public toilets are costing thousands of euros to run, paid for by taxpayers.
