French President Nicolas Sarkozy called for "reconciliation" in Libya yesterday, while British Prime Minister David Cameron promised to help the country's new administration track down former leader Muammar Gaddafi.

The two men were in Tripoli, as part of the first visit by foreign heads of state/government to the country since the overthrow of Gaddafi.

They gave a press conference at the Corinthia Hotel Tripoli before flying on to Benghazi.
