Maltese missionary priest dies in Brazil

Maltese priest Fr Carmel Mercieca, who has been working in Brazil for the past 50 years, died early today. The 74-year-old priest, from Qormi, has been in Brazil since 1961, had prostate cancer. He was loved by the people he worked with.
