Do the Arriva people know about the Maltese saying“Iżżarma knisja biex tibni oħra”? (literally translated, you demolish a church to build another). That’s what they did with route 43. To let it go to Naxxar they left the Lija people stranded.

They should let route 43 go up Transfiguration Avenue to the tower, as it used to do, and then carry on to Naxxar. At least, Lija village will be catered for.

Those who drew up the bus routes were either not Maltese or they never used public transport. All that was needed was to change buses and drivers. Full stop.
