Over 150 swimmers took part in the end-of-season BOV Swim Gala races which took place last Saturday at the Sirens ASC pitch.

The first session was held in the morning followed by another in the afternoon. The gala included freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and relay events.

The event ended with a synchronised swimming exhibition in which Hanah Preca Trapani, the Sirens synchro team and Olympic duo and world champions Saho Harada and Naoko Kawasima performed sequences which thrilled the crowd.

The Sirens swimpolo summer season will wrap up with a training camp in Liguria towards the end of the month. Over 40 Sirens ASC swimmers are expected to take part in this training camp.

In a statement, Sirens said they have finalised the winter time-tables and are offering a varied choice of swimming options.

The club is also looking forward to the start of the winter time trials which will resume on October 8 at the National Pool.
