It is very worrying that Go felt the need to file a judicial protest a few weeks ago in an attempt to stop the Malta Environment and Planning Authority from granting Pender Ville a permit to build on the area adjacent to St George’s Exchange – even though the application is in breach of the 2005 Development Brief.

Mepa will discuss the applications at a public meeting scheduled for today.

Over 8,000 Go shareholders have an interest in protecting this valuable asset and should object vociferously to anything that would result in its value being reduced, which such an intense development literally overshadowing it would surely do.
