A woman is at work at the vineyards of château Haut-Brion, a Bordeaux grand cru in Pessac, southwestern France. At the château, the grapes benefited enormously from the excellent weather conditions over the summer. The months of June, July and August were particularly dry but exceptionally hot and sunny. The harvesting of white grapes has finished on August 31, followed by the picking of red grapes starting with the Merlots.
