BoV advance deposit ATM at The Point

Bank of Valletta recently installed its first off-site advance deposit automated teller machine in Malta.

Located within The Point shopping mall in Tigné, Sliema, the ATM uses cutting-edge technology that enables customers and businesses to deposit cash and cheques quickly and efficiently.

Michael Galea, chief officer, operations at Bank of Valletta, explained that thanks to the ATM’s features, cash deposits are credited to the customer’s account instantly. Cheques are deposited within a very short time and the ATM provides instant proof of deposit. The customer experience is seamless, with the customer simply having to insert cash or cheques, even in batches, directly into the ATM.

The ATM also employs touch-screen technology for ease of use.
