A 31-year-old woman from Birkirkara who was critically injured on a traffic accident on Tal-Barrani Road on Sunday, has succumbed to her injuries.

The woman was driving a Fiat Punto at 2 a.m. which was involved in collision with another car, a Seat Cordoba which was travelling in the same direction.

There were six people in the Punto, including the woman's husband and her four children. The husband and an 11-year-old daugher were seriously injured. It is understood that the dead woman's organs will be donated.
