Former Spice girl Mel B welcomes baby girl

Former Spice Girl Mel B has given birth to a daughter.

The star, who is married to Stephen Belafonte and has two children, Phoenix and Angel, told fans on her Twitter account.

She said: “Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!”

The US-based singer is the third former Spice Girl to give birth this year.

Victoria Beckham became a mother for the fourth time in July when she gave birth to daughter Harper Seven and Emma Bunton had a second son, Tate, in May with her partner Jade Jones.

Ms Bunton tweeted her congratulations, saying: “Yeah!!! Well done Mummy! Lots of love. Xxx”
