11.30 a.m. The President receives Nathan Farrugia, Cliff Sultana, Antonello Gauci and Lawrence Cachia, participants of the 27th European Challenge, aimed at collecting funds for the outdoor children’s area at Mater Dei Hospital, on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace, Attard.

Tuesday

10 a.m. The President and Mrs Abela receive Slovakian Presdient Ivan Gašparovic and Mrs Gašparovicová at the Palace, Valletta.

11.40 a.m. The President attends the tree planting ceremony by Mr Gašparovic at San Anton Palace.

7.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela host a state concert in honour of the Slovakian President and Mrs Gašparovicová at the Palace.

8.30 p.m. They host a state dinner in honour of Mr Gašparovic and Mrs Gašparovicová at the Palace.

Wednesday

11.30 a.m. The President and Mr Gašparovic inaugurate a business forum at the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, Valletta.

4.25 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela bid farewell Mr Gašparovic and Mrs Gašparovicová at a departure ceremony at Malta International Airport.

6.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela preside over the Malta Community Chest Fund board meeting at San Anton Palace.

Thursday

10 a.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a Pontifical Mass on Victory Day at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

11 a.m. The President lays a wreath on the Great Siege Memorial in Republic Street, Valletta.

Friday

The President and Mrs Abela depart on an official visit to the UK.

Saturday

The President and Mrs Abela attend the official ceremonies in connection with Malta Day in London.

Sunday

The President and Mrs Abela arrive at Malta International Airport.
