Congratulations to Maestro Sigmund Mifsud, the National Orchestra and all performers, and a big thank you for a wonderful rocking evening.
Our initial start was spoilt for only a couple of minutes by a person attending to one of the main entrances, who, when approached to be asked a simple question, was, with half a forced smile, sarcastically rude. But as the performance started we immediately forgot this incident.
It was our first time that we attended for Rockestra, but it will not be our last as we already put this event in our cultural calendar for next year.
I urge all those who never attended to this wonderful event to make it a point to attend next year. We got more than our money's worth. The audience was remarkable,
Thanks to everyone for a wonderful night. See you next year.

It was a great concert. The Philarmonic is really an orchestra to be proud of, as is the talent displayed by all the performers - well done and thank you guys!
However I can't help but wonder why MFCC continues to be used for concerts and parades when the sound is so atrocious. True it's large and there's loads of parking, but the acoustics are very bad. It was full to bursting yesterday, took about an hour stuck in a traffic jam to get out of there. One wonders about the safety.
Malta Military Tattoo soon. I'm looking forward to that, especially to the fantastic displays the Malta Police and AFM put on every year. But the horrible sound always puts a damper on such occasions.
