A vendor holds a crab as she waits for customers at a seafood market in Qingdao, in eastern China’s Shandong province yesterday, as seafood prices have risen recently. China said its politically sensitive inflation rate hit a more than three-year high in July while other data indicated its attempts to cap rising prices was sapping economic growth.
