Popular programmes to be retained on TLC - GO
GO plc said this afternoon that Discovery TLC, which will be launched on its TV list tomorrow, will carry many of the programmes currently available on Discovery Travel & Living, which it will replace.
Reacting to questions raised by many people, GO said TLC's programme schedule that has been tailored for the local market and includes brand new smash hit shows. The channel will , however,l still show Cake Boss, Kate Plus 8, Say Yes to the Dress, What Not To Wear, Toddlers and Tiaras and other programmes.
It will also add a vibrant mix of new content that has proved to be very popular in the US and internationally.
TLC has already been launched in eight other European countries and will be launched in five countries, including Malta, tomorrow.

BIg deal , how about making available a couple of French and Spanish speaking channels? The non choice is glaring. Go seems intent on promoting one version of the world. Who in his/her right mind would want to watch that disgusting spectacle Toddlers and Tiaras?

What is wrong with that? It is advertising. They are doing their job, taking opportunity to market their product.
