Rocker’s daughter Kimberly Stewart has given birth to a baby girl, according to reports.

US Weekly said that veteran singer Rod Stewart, 66, was at the Los Angeles hospital, where he became a grandfather for the first time.

It was announced earlier this year that actress, reality TV star and model Ms Stewart, 32, was pregnant with Oscar-winning actor Benicio Del Toro’s baby, but that the pair were no longer together. A spokesman for Mr Del Toro, 44, said in April: “Although (he and Kimberly) are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.”

A source told US Weekly that Mr Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster and Alana Collins, who is Kimberly’s mother and Mr Stewart’s first wife, were also at the hospital during the delivery.
