Whilst hoping that the woman in question will recover and return to her former self why is it that the Times insists on advertising car brand names. Does a particular make of car aggravate an accident? Maybe it would be more pertinent to inform us as to whether one or both drivers were adhering to the highway code or overtaking when one shouldn't or the drivers being blinded by the size of a bendy bus coming in the opposite direction........

I hope the woman is ok and will bet back to normal soon, however i lived on Gozo for a few years as an ex-pat and i always mentianed that the average Gozitan does not know the rules on a public road and simply when it comes to driving they are way under average and most are not qualified.

We are from the channel islands and lived in Gozo for 3 years, yes most definitly the Old Gozitan farmers driving their old bashed up pickup trucks drive as if they own the roads, and one daren't argue with their system, case i remember one old fellow and just about half a dozen kids in the back seat, just blew his top and started blaspheming in all languages i think as he looked very stressed and gave us a very strange tendecy against us foerigners. We were even told that most just do not have a licence or insurance, that might be the case but its very dangerous and these people should be off the road period. Wish the woman the best and a speedy recovery.

if it was a youngster in his 20's that caused the accident, this page would be already full of people condemning young drivers!
