ARRIGO AZZOPARDI (née Mizzi), on August 14, BEATRICE (Bessie), aged 92, widow of Anthony of Sta Luċija passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Lino and his wife Jane, Joyce and her husband Lawrence Camilleri, Vincent and his wife Josephine, Anna and her husband Anthony Calleja, and Martin and his wife Grace, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. at Sta Luċija parish church today followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetry. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

VELLA (née Micallef), on August 15 at Mater Dei Hospital, ROŻA, aged 85, widow of Ġużepp, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Fr Edgar, David, Mary and her husband Richard Speichinger, Pawlu and his wife Rita, Twanny and his wife Mary, Louis and his wife Lillian, Godfrey and his wife Joan, Rita and her husband Walter Abela, Joe and his wife Rita, grandchildren, her sisters Evelyn Micallef and Maria Muscat, her husband’s siblings and their families. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3.30 p.m. for St Mary’s parish church, Mġarr, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.
