The Corinthia Palace Hotel and Spa recently held a mid-summer garden party in aid of ‘Beyond the Moon’, an international non-profit charitable association that aids seriously ill children by giving them the holiday of a lifetime.
During the event, the Hampshire Constabulary Band gave a special performance under the leadership of Captain P. J. Curtis of the Royal Marines. The sum of €1,500 was collected during the evening.
With this money, together with funds collected from similar initiatives, the management and staff of the Corinthia Palace Hotel will be able to nominate their seventh Maltese child suffering from a life-threatening disease for a completely cost-free and care-free holiday in a child-friendly holiday destination together with their family.
‘Beyond the Moon’ is a Belgium-based charity, which has been adopted by Corinthia Hotels International as its ‘community partner’ throughout its hotels worldwide.
