BALZAN. Evania, née Pulis and Stephen thank God and Our Lady for the precious gift of their son JAKE, born on June 28, 2011.

CAMENZULI. On June 30, at the Wirral University Hospitals, UK, to Alexia née Attard and Aldo, God’s precious gift of a daughter – ISABELLE LOUISE, a most welcome sister to Emma and Abigail. Deo gratias et Mariæ.

CASSAR. On July 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Tamsin née Smith and Joseph, God’s precious gift of a daughter – MEGAN, a very welcome sister to Lee. Deo gratias et Mariæ. Special thanks to the obstetrician and all the staff.

Obituaries

SEYCHELL. On August 12, at her residence in Balzan, MARY nee Grech of Victoria, aged 73, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Charles, her son Martin and his wife Gloria, her daughter Miriam and her husband Dr James Pocock, her beloved grandchildren Angela, Adrian and Elena, her brothers and sisters Edward, Emmanuel, Anton, Tessie, John, Vivienne and their respective spouses and children, her brother-in-law Joe and his wife Mary, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 8 a.m. for Balzan parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to the Malta Hospice Movement will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Requiem Mass

On the first anniversary of the demise of President Emeritus GUIDO DE MARCO a Mass for the repose of his soul will be held on Tuesday at St Paul’s Shipwreck church, Valletta, at 9 a.m.
