Nature took back six loggerhead turtles into her embrace yesterday after they spent months at the Turtle Rehabilitation Unit at Forti San Luċjan in Marsaxlokk. The turtles were cared for by aquaculture officer Charles Sammut, veterinarian Anthony Gruppetta and volunteers from Nature Trust (Malta). They were released at Ġnejna in the presence of Resources Minister George Pullicino and Environment Parliamentary Secretary Mario de Marco.
