The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology is introducing the first full-time diploma apprenticeship course aimed at providing qualified process technicians for the plastics and rubber manufacturing sectors.
The new course, entitled ‘Diploma for Polymer Process Technicians’, is offered to Mcast students who complete a first diploma in mechanical engineering or electronics, and to new students who have at least four Sec/O levels, including Maths and Physics.
It is also offered to adult learners aged 21 and over under the maturity clause. People employed in this sector who would like to advance in their career by taking this course can also apply.
Prospective students can obtain further information for this and the other 155 full-time Mcast courses starting in October from www.mcast.edu.mt, by sending an e-mail to information@mcast.edu.mt or by calling 2398 7100.
They can also request an appointment with Mcast’s Career Guidance and Counselling Services’ counsellors for further advice and assistance.
