iPhone app for Maltese real estate search
Favourite properties can be saved for later viewing
Dhalia Real Estate Services have launched Malta’s first property locator application for the Apple iPhone. This tool will help customers find and access the property they are looking for, in a faster and more convenient manner.
“The app provides our customers with a new interface to access our extensive database of properties in a simple, interactive way,” said Franco Valletta, the company’s chairman and CEO.
Alan Grima, Dhalia’s chief information officer, explained how all iPhones have a GPS locator. “Our iPhone app reads this data and can actually display available properties within your immediate location, thereby providing an innovative geo-located search. In this way, if you find an area you like, you can immediately see if there is any property for sale or to rent in the vicinity.”
The app has all of the features of the search interface on Dhalia’s website. Users can look for properties by locality, price range or even by reference number. Favourite properties can be saved for later viewing.
There is also a loan calculator, e-mail listing and the ability for users to request a call back from one of the company’s sales consultants.
The Dhalia iPhone app has been developed in association with 2I Limited and can be downloaded for free from the Apple’s app store by searching with the keywords “property malta”.
