Meeting on pensions

The Malta Federation of Professional Associations recently called on its 14 member organisations for a consultation meeting on pensions. The session was addressed by David G. Curmi, on behalf of MSV Life, the event sponsors, and David Spiteri Gingell, chairman of the Pensions Working Group.

During the meeting MFPA president Helga Pizzuto stated that members were brought together in order to gauge their feedback on pensions. The discussion covered a number of issues, including the problem of early retirement, active participation in the workplace and immigration.
