Bins needed in Sliema

There are many proper rubbish bins installed on the promenade and foreshore of Sliema and there are also a few small bins in Dingli Street.

There are, however, no bins installed anywhere else and it is about time that the local council installs bins in the streets of Sliema. Sliema needs bins in all streets to keep our town clean. Bins could be placed strategically at cross roads and spread throughout, preferably everywhere.

The Sliema council should lead by example and organise the general installation of bins. If costly, the Sliema council could cover different areas over a period of time.
