Members of the University’s Faculty of Education are currently involved in a Grundtvig project titled Bridgeit.

The project offers tools to facilitate the life of migrants as they interact with professionals within bureaucratic systems.

Led by Perugia University in Italy, the project involves partners from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland and Turkey. The Malta team comprises Mario Pace, Philip Bonanno, Sandro Caruana and Colin Calleja. Carmel Borg is the local coordinator.

The project revolves around a collection of real-life communication materials from a range of bureaucratic-institutional contexts, originating from different countries in the EU.

The project will also include a depository of good practices in the field of intercultural communication as well as a data bank of communication materials that can be used for training purposes.
