The latest issue of the International Journal of Emotional Education (IJEE) has been published by the European Centre for Educational Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health at the University of Malta and the European Network for Social and Emotional Competence.
The issue focuses on evidence-based practice in social and emotional education, with two papers evaluating assessment measures and another two social and emotional learning programmes.
The first paper by Cefai et al. examines the psychometric properties and structure of the Maltese version of the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), while in the second paper Couture et al. (Canada) make use of the SDQ to establish the concurrent validity of the Boxall Profile, a diagnostic instrument measuring children’s level of emotional and behavioural functioning.
The IJEE is a biennial, peer-reviewed, international, electronic journal which is distributed free of charge and supported by an international board of reviewers with high level expertise in the field.
