3,000 participate in Jerusalem gay pride
About 3,000 people took part in Jerusalem's gay pride parade yesterday.
The march started at West Jerusalem's center and ended at the Knesset.
Ultra-Orthodox Jews meanwhile held a counter-demonstration.

This is such good news. Glad to hear that Jerusalem is on its way to a more liberalist society. Malta take note! Embrace unity through diversity, that's the way it should have always been.

A gay parade took place yesterday in Jerusalem about 3000 people attended. I am delighted because it shows that Israel is a liberal and open society, largely secular and it grants minorities equal rights like yesterday to gather and to show their preferences.
Liberal and open societies give human beings legal rights like gays and lesbians to make the public aware that they live in the middle of the society and that they contribute a lot to a stable and working democracy.

Jerusalemn is an Orthodox city and not so tolerant towards gays and there were some 3000 people. Tel Aviv, which is a liberal city hosted gay pride in June and apart from 10000 Isralis there were 5000 tourists.
