Noisy summer nights

When are the complaints of residents in the Sliema, St Julians, Swieqi and surrounding areas, regarding foreign students’ behaviour at night, going to be addressed by our MPs and authorities in these districts?

English language schools have taken over hotels and flats to accommodate students who trample openly on our laws and peace at night. Excuses from language schools cannot be accepted to the detriment of residents and responsibilty to check abuses lies solely with them. It is about time the authorities enforce the law on these hotels and flats “owned” by the schools as it is very easy to identify the areas which they occupy.
