Go has teamed up with KidsCo, the international children’s channel, to allow subscribers to enjoy programming on Go’s recently-launched television-over-broadband service, Go interactive TV.

KidsCo’s will broadcast its range of safe, age-appropriate and educational content catering to pre-schoolers, kids aged six-10 and families. KidsCo will air its collection of classic shows including Paddington, Danger Mouse, Rescue Heroes and The Wiggles.

It will also first-run exclusives including Turbo Dogs. KidsCo will air its original productions such as Boo & Me, Boo & Me 2 and Jass Time.

Paul Robinson, global chief executive at KidsCo, said the company was delighted to extend its unique offering of family-friendly programming throughout Malta.

Malta, he said, was forward-thinking, having been the fifth of 27 countries in Europe to switch from analogue to digital before the required deadline at the end of 2012, has led to the launch of a number of new video on demand and digital channels.

Charmaine Farrugia, senior manager for strategic marketing at Go, said: “We are excited to add KidsCo’s range of family friendly programming to our offering. Listening to our customers’ feedback has always been one of our company’s focal points so we are confident that KidsCo’s unique proposition and emphasis on family friendly ‘edu-tainment’ will be well received.”
