Aluserv Ltd, part of ServGroup Ltd, has completed the installation of aluminium, glass and steel works at Progress Press’ new premises in Mrieħel.

The extensive works included glass curtain walls, automatic doors, a custom-made glass staircase, railings in stainless steel and glass, demountable office partitions, thermal break doors and windows, a view gallery glass wall.

Engineer Edwin Fiott said the vast installations at Progress Press maximised the “the various characteristics that glass offers: rigidity, insulation and transparency”.

Aluserv has been entrusted with the manufacturing and installation of various types of apertures and structures for several major projects. Its portfolio includes Malta International Airport, Smart City Malta, The Point and Transport Malta’s premises in Floriana, and hotels in Malta and Libya.

As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations this year, Aluserv is donating €2 to the SPCA for every insect screen ordered until September.
