Diver rescued from rough sea off Dwejra

A 39-year-old diver was rescued from rough seas off Dwejra in Gozo yesterday morning by an Armed Forces of Malta helicopter.
Godwin Abela was in the company of another diver when he encountered difficulties and was unable to make it back to Dwejra’s inland sea.
His companion made it to shore and alerted the AFM. An Air Wing Alouette rescue helicopter was dispatched and Mr Abela was hoisted to safety, suffering from slight exhaustion.

well done to AFM team and everyone involved..... what i just want to is say the diver have the proper qualification to dive. he should have abandoned the dive first of all because the first thing that the Course states is "Analyze the entry and Exit point"
