It’s not too late to book a music festival in Europe this summer if you haven’t already done so.

Sziget Festival is taking place in Budapest, Hungary from August 8 to 15. Headliners include Prince, Kasabian, Pulp, Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. Buy your ticket online at www.sziget.hu.

It’s still possible to buy tickets for the Leeds and Reading Festivals (same line-up at both) in the UK, taking place on what will no doubt be a wet but riotous Bank Holiday weekend from August 26 to 28. The line-up includes Muse, The Strokes, My Chemical Romance and The National, plus top international DJ talent.

Visit www.readingfestival.com or www.leedsfestival.com for the latest ticket information. Even if the ticket you would like is sold out, tickets are legally resold for these festivals on official ticket exchange site www.viagogo.co.uk, often for less than face value.

Or head to France’s Brittany coast for La Route Du Rock in St Malo, taking place from August 12 to 14. An intriguing line-up includes fleet Foxes, The Kills and Aphex Twin alongside lots of up and coming acts. Visit www.laroutedurock.com for tickets.
