Go recently introduced roaming data services at affordable pay-per-use rates. The data services –€1.70 per MB for both Pay Monthly and Prepaid Roaming customers – make international roaming data more cost-effective, enabling customers to control costs and stay in touch via laptops and smartphones.
The key benefit of these services at pay-per-use rates is that these are applicable to all EU operators. In addition, the tariffs, now in force, also apply to a growing list of operators outside the EU, including Australia (Telstra), China (China Unicom), Egypt (Etisalat), Gibraltar, Iceland, Monaco, Norway, Singapore (Sing Tel), Switzerland (Swisscom), Turkey (Turkcell) and the US (T-Mobile USA).
For the full advantage of its frequent travellers, Go has also cut down the prices of its data roaming bundles that come with a convenient time window of 30 days in which to use the data and with no restrictions on EU operators.
The data roaming bundles range from 10MB to 100MB. For those who use Blackberry, to ensure that they are up-to-date, Go has doubled the amount of data offered, from 5MB to 10MB – for the same price.
The pay-per-use roaming data service is tailored toindividual user needs, travel profile and businessrequirements.
Speaking about the pay-per-use roaming data services, Mark Farrugia, Go product manager for data, said: “The new pay-per-use data services are strongly in line with our commitment to helping consumers connect with friends, family and business associates around the world. Our drive is to satisfy customers’ craving for more value in long-distance.”
Information about data roaming – for Pay Monthly and pre-paid roaming customers – is available on the website at www.go.com.mt. Customers need to go to ‘roaming/going abroad’ in the list of items on the right-hand side of the mobile homepage and then click on ‘data’.
