St Benild’s School, Sliema, recently organised its Green Week, during which lessons focused on the topic of nature, and students participated in extracurricular activities pertaining to the theme.

Boys from Grade 2 visited the National Park, Ta’ Qali, where they carried out fieldwork. The visit was coordinated by Rural Affairs Ministry senior environment inspector Neville Ebejer.

The boys took part in a treasure hunt, and were also given a lesson about the kinds of trees available on site.

Students planted seeds in a small pot, which they then took home.
