Readers of international publication Trade and Forfaiting Review have lauded services provided by Fimbank plc and London Forfaiting Company Ltd, both part of the Fimbank Group.
The TFR awards, which are determined solely on the basis of polls conducted among the magazine’s readers, recognised FIMBank plc as ‘Best Factoring Institution’, and London Forfaiting Company Ltd as ‘Best Forfaiting Institution’. London Forfaiting also won a silver award for ‘Best Trade Finance Boutique’.
Trade and Forfaiting Review editor Graeme Burton said the result was a “pretty good haul for Fimbank”.
Bank president Margrith Lütschg-Emmenegger greeted the news with delight: “These awards further enhance FIMBank’s reputation as a global provider of trade finance solutions. Thanks to our dedicated back office staff and state of the art IT infrastructure, Fimbank’s name has been increasingly associated with factoring, probably the fastest growing trade finance product.
“Over the past years, we have been able to contribute our expertise in this specialist area towards the setting up and operation of factoring joint ventures in Russia, India and Brazil.”
