Top British alternative act Radiohead have, over the course of time, earned a solid reputation for their experimental endeavours in music.
The band is equally well-known for their interest in collaborations with other artists, as well as having their music reworked by like-minded souls.
It comes as no surprise then that the release of The King of Limbs has now been followed up with a series of remixes from the album.
The first of the limited edition 12-inch vinyl releases, featuring remixes of Little by Little by Caribou and Lotus Flower by Jacques Greene, was released three weeks ago. A second release, featuring a remix of Morning Mr Magpie by Nathan Fake and two remixes of Bloom by Mark Pritchard and his alter ego Harmonic 313, has been available since last Monday.
The third installment in the series, expected to continue throughout summer, will feature remixes of Separator by Four Tet, Feral by Lone and Morning Mr Magpie by Pearson Sound Scavenger and is expected to come out on Thursday.
According to reports on the band’s official website, there are plans to release the entire series of remixes on CD at a later date.
