GWU ‘represents majority’ at Palumbo

The General Workers’ Union yesterday said it represented the majority of industrial workers at the Palumbo Shipyards.

The necessary verification had been made by the Registrar of Trade Unions, it said in a statement.

The GWU said it hoped there would be close industrial relations with the shipyard in the interests of the workers and the company.
