A fault in a cable between the Marsa power station and Sta Venera resulted in a power cut in a number of towns that lasted for over an hour yesterday. The fault happened at about 3 p.m. Power started to be restored to some localities at 3.30 p.m. and, by 4.30 p.m., the supply was restored, an Enemalta spokes-man said. The power cut affected parts of Marsascala, L-Iklin, Mosta and Swieqi, among other localities.
