Lifecycle participants in Cyprus training camp

Participants of the Betfair Lifecycle Challenge recently attended a four-day training camp in Cyprus, organised by Emirates. At the training camp, participants took part in teambuilding activities and were also briefed by a physiotherapist.

They cycled long distances in hot temperatures, conditions they will be facing in the actual challenge next month. The experience taught them about the dangers of dehydration and heat stroke and to take precautions during the challenge.

The challenge will take place in mid-August, with the participants cycling 2,000 km from Prague to Sarajevo.
