Two men were yesterday charged with stealing two car registration plates and attaching them to another vehicle in Gozo.

Keith Joseph Mallia, 40, of Għaxaq, and Keith Galea, 31, of Santa Venera, were also charged with the possession of a knife and ammunition.

The men, who deny the charges, were granted bail against a €3,000 personal guarantee and a deposit of €1,500.
